Integrating Lever with Teamable
The bi-directional sync feature is available to users on the Essential, Plus, and Premium plans.
Integrating Lever with Teamable allows for a more seamless candidate management experience. Teamable will automatically reach out and push candidates to Lever as you source them and will help identify duplicate candidates against candidates your team has already contacted.
By harnessing AI technology, Teamable's applicant review process is designed to bring the most qualified candidates to the forefront.
Requirements
- You must be a Super Admin in Lever
- You must be an Admin in Teamable
- A custom Lever API key - learn how here
Learn how to Generate an API Key here.
Special Note - The partner API key does NOT have sufficient permissions; you must generate a custom key until Lever is able to update the permission set on their end.
Outbound
How does the integration work for outreach?
When Teamable outreach gets sent out to a candidate, that candidate will be added to your Lever ATS as “Reached Out" in your Leads pipeline. From there things should look very familiar! The candidate opportunity profile will include:
- Name
- Current Title and Company
- Name of Sourcer
- Name of Job
- Date Added
- Teamable tag and any additional custom tags
- Social link
- Location
Moving stages: Teamable will automatically change the "New Lead" stage from “Reached Out” to “Responded” as soon as the candidate replies!
All Teamable correspondence (initial emails, follow ups and replies) with the candidate will be added to Lever under the “Overview” and “Notes” section of the candidate profile.
Teamable will automatically detect if a profile already exists in your Lever ATS to avoid pushing a duplicate profile.
Inbound
How does the integration work for our Team's inbound applicants?
This feature is available to Teams on the Premium plan.
When Teamable connects to your ATS, all the Jobs in your Lever instance will be synced to Teamable. Any Lever Job with applicants will appear in the Applicants tab of the Sourcing Section or Review Section if you are an admin or reviewer (learn more here). You can start reviewing the applicants once they're fully loaded. It may take a few minutes after syncing or up to a few hours.
The applicant profile pushed from Lever to Teamable will include:
- Name
- Current Title, Company, Past Experiences (from LinkedIn or Resume if provided)
- Information from LinkedIn profile (if URL is provided)
- Location
- Resume
What happens when I reject an applicant?
The same applicant information will be pushed back to your Lever team with the applicant labelled with the "Archived" status and the archive reason displayed. Check out the article on Rejecting applicants with an ATS rejection reason.
