Teamable and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Teamable’s robust Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) reporting gives organizations the necessary insight to ensure diverse sourcing at the top of the funnel. Until your candidate formally becomes an applicant and participates in an applicant survey, our DE&I model serves as the next best way to ensure your top of funnel recruiting efforts are as free from bias as possible (and can help you diversify and try new approaches in cases where you're seeing significant drop off at early funnel stages).
How it works
Powered by our AI models, Teamable use data points such as the candidate’s name and photo to make sensible calls about candidate diversity and helps you stay away from discriminatory behavior. It outperform humans on standard benchmarks with a 90% accuracy. The data is aggregated so the designation is not to a specific candidate, so the candidate stays anonymous.
Currently, our AI models analyzes a candidate’s ethnicity (African American, Asian, Hispanic, and White) and gender (male and female) based on the candidate photo as the primary source and the candidate name secondary. If the system is not confident about the ethnicity, it will be excluded from the reports and if the system has no gender data, it reports male. If the system has data but it isn’t confident, it reports female.
