Greenhouse Rejection Templates

Greenhouse ATS integrated teams can now utilize their Greenhouse templates to send rejection messages when a candidate is rejected via the Teamable interface! The email will be sent from the sender indicated on the Greenhouse template, which could be no_reply@domain.com or recruiting@domain.com, etc. depending on the setting.

Teamable admins can now set team defaults on the 'Settings' page and users can also make rejection template decisions on a specific job level.

Admin Rejection Template Settings

In order to set defaults for inbound applicant rejection templates, you must be a Teamable admin. You may then follow these steps:

  1. Open your settings page by clicking your avatar in the upper right hand corner of the screen

  2. Select the 'Default templates' option. Here you'll be able to send standardized messaging across referral and inbound Messaging campaigns.
  3. Go to 'Settings in order to enable the Greenhouse rejection templates instead of the Teamable messaging using the toggle. Then select your desired Greenhouse rejection template.

  4. You'll see an option asking if you'd like to apply this change to all existing inbound campaigns. Make your selection.
  5. Next, click the 'Inbound Rejection' tab and slide the toggle for the Greenhouse rejection message to the right. this will enable the messaging as a default and, again, you'll be asked if you'd like to apply that to all existing inbound campaigns.

  6. These settings will now be the default for setup for all new inbound campaigns created and applied to any existing campaigns if you have chosen to do apply to all. Now, when a candidate is rejected via Teamable, the template will be triggered through your Greenhouse with the default settings, sender, and variables populated.

Job Level Template Settings

Any recruiting user may set different defaults rejection messages for inbound applicants on each job. In order to do so, follow these steps:

  1. Find the relevant job page.
  2. Select the 'Campaigns' tab and then select the 'Inbound' campaign.

  3. Once you've selected the Inbound campaign you'll be able to toggle between the Greenhouse and Teamable messaging and choose different templates on the 'Settings' tab. You can also toggle the sending on or off on the 'Rejection message' tab.
