Step 1: Setting Up Clara Codewords

Once your Lever integration is set, the first necessary step to optimize your use of Clara and Teamable with Lever is to set codewords. Codewords are unique words or phrases that trigger Clara to take certain actions when scheduling for you, including:

  • Scheduling Strategies
  • Event Constraints
  • Feedback Forms
    • Lever-integrated request including feedback form
  • Meeting Customization
    • Add an email address to the meeting invite (e.g. add Interviews Calendar for tracking)
    • Add text to the beginning of the event title (e.g. Phone Screen: [name] <>[name])
    • Add text to the meeting description (e.g. further details on the interview process)
    • Always BCC an email address for a meeting

You can view current codewords within the Special Features tab of your Clara settings. To add or change codewords, contact support@claralabs.com or your AM if you require additional support.

Step 2: Using Clara in Positive Replies

Once you have set up your codeword, you are ready to let Teamable and Clara handle positive replies. Simply CC Clara and insert the codeword in your positive reply template.

In the examples below, "schedule a call" is the code phrase to trigger to Clara to create a meeting with specific settings and send a feedback form to the interviewer.

If you are handing replies manually, you need to ensure you include Clara and any necessary codeword.
